Cara France Originally from Little Silver, New Jersey, Cara France began her dance training
at a small, local dance studio. She continued her training through high school at Red Bank Regional High School, where she
was accepted as a dance major. Graduating in 2006, Cara went on to further her dance education at the University of the Arts.
Working with choreographers such as Brian Sanders, Zane Booker, Curt Haworth, Silvana Cardell and Molly Misgalla, Cara is
currently a Modern Performance Major and will be graduating in 2010. This is Cara's first season with Xhale.
Michelle Televantos Michelle is 22 years old and is a recent graduate from the University of the Arts. She trained at Tammys Dance Studio in
West Virginia and The Dance Center in PA. She is currently a principle of the Brandywine Ballet Theater. Some of the shows
she has bperformed in include The Nutcracker, Dracula, Serenade and Franks Place. Michelle has attended The Dance Centers
summer program and last year did an internship with Ballet x. She has recieved the Promising Artist award from the University
of the Arts since freshman year. Michelle spent the summer of 08 in NY at the Alvin Ailey Summer.
Nicole
Sabella Nciole Sabella is originally from the Sunshine State, where she graduated with honors from
the prestigious Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School. It was here, Nicole absorbed rigorous training in
Vaganova and Horton techniques. At PCCA Nicole proudly experienced learning under artists including Suzanne B. Pomerantzeff,
Patricia L. Paige, John Parks, Peter Kalivas, and Travis Mesman to name a few. In May 2005 Nicole was awarded $3,000 from
the Walker’s Rising Stars Scholarship Competition. Currently, Nicole recently graduated from the University of the Arts,
School of Dance as a modern major, as well as a company member of Michael Susten’s Xhale and Zane Booker’s Smoke,
Lilies, and Jade Arts Initiative. Ultimately, Nicole wishes to make relevant artistic statements and enrich the lives of others
through the art of dance for years to come.
Brett Hahalyak Brett Hahalyak is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Brett is currently a sophomore dance major at The University of the Arts. He began his dance training at the age of 16 with
The Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) and The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera Academy. Brett’s
first piece “X Marks the Spot” was accepted into the Student Choreography Concert at 2008’s National High
School Dance Festival in Philadelphia. His work was performed at The Merriam Theater along with 10 other student works. He
was lucky enough to dance, on scholarship from NHSDF, at The Bates Dance Festival and The Jacob’s Pillow School for
Jazz. He also attended Point Park’s International Summer Dance and The University of the Arts Pre-College Program. Brett
would like to thank his family and amazing friends for their unending support. He would also like to thank Michael for giving
him this amazing opportunity. This is Brett's second season with Xhale.
Holly
Robinson Holly
grew up in Roswell, GA. She began her training at the Roswell City Dance company at age 10, and continued dancing there
until her graduation in 2008. Holly has worked with many choreographers and attended many regional and national competitions
and conventions as well as taught classes in contemporary and hip hop around the southeast. She is now furthering her training
as a freshman dance major at the University of the Arts.
Michael Konderwicz Originally
from Ludlow, Massachusetts. Michael began dancing at the age of 14. His training was consistent at the Artistic Dance Conservatory
and at Pioneer Valley Performing Arts High School. Now Michael is a senior Jazz performance major at the University of the Arts and has worked with many reputable names such as MOMMIX, Koresh Dance
Company, Pennsylvania Ballet, and Rose Worton. Michael will be graduation in 2010.
